Crimson Desert devs are absolutely not taking a breather. Hot on the heels of a patch that let players saddle up on iguanas like some kind of fantasy lizard cowboy, Pearl Abyss is back with another update dropping new content faster than most studios drop patch notes, according to Eurogamer.

The headline feature this time around is the expanded boss rematch system, which now includes even more bosses you can queue up to fight again and again. If you are the type of gamer who hits a tough encounter and immediately thinks 'yes, but what if I did that seven more times?' - congratulations, Pearl Abyss has personally built this feature for you.

But wait, there is more. Protagonist Damiane is also getting a brand new set of unarmed combat skills, meaning she can now put the weapons away and just start absolutely cooking enemies with her bare hands. Nothing says 'I am the main character' quite like punching a boss in the face without a weapon equipped, and frankly we respect the energy.

It is worth noting that Crimson Desert is still in its demo/preview phase, and yet the dev team is churning out updates at a pace that would make some live-service games sweat. Iguanas as mounts one week, bare-knuckle boss grinding the next - whatever internal roadmap Pearl Abyss is working from, they are clearly not slowing down.

Whether you are a speedrunner, a lore goblin, or just someone who wants to rematch that one boss that humiliated you in front of your friends, this patch seems tailor-made to keep players busy and the hype train firmly on the rails. The full patch details are available via the original report over at Eurogamer.
