A physical edition of the PS5 version of Red Dead Redemption could be hitting shelves as soon as next month, according to a retailer listing spotted by Push Square. Spanish store Wakkap has the boxed version listed with a release date of 7th May 2026 and a price of €32.90 (roughly $38).
The listing was originally picked up and reported by Portal Viciados before making wider rounds. Rockstar Games has not officially confirmed a physical release for the PS5 version of the original Red Dead Redemption, and no other retailers worldwide appear to have similar listings at this stage.
Why this matters
Physical media collectors have been waiting a long time for a disc version of this one. The PS5 upgrade for Red Dead Redemption launched digitally, and for players who prefer shelf copies or want something to resell down the line, a boxed release would be a welcome option.
